Awin tried her hands on cross stitching when she came to my house a few months ago. She helped me with my New York Silhouette project, which is a simple project using only one color (black) against beige Aida. She liked it so much that I decided to present her with a Minnie Mouse Cross Stitch Kit for her birthday!

I couldn't help it! I went out and bought another old issue of CrossStitcher! I couldn't resist the temptation :(

I just bought this yesterday. I can't wait to try out the designs! :D

This is a beautiful pattern I got from my CrossStitcher magazine. I simply love the gentle colors. I'm a big fan of the color purple :)

Now this is one of my favorites! I love it because of the vivid colors. It probably would look better with black Aida, but I haven't tried that yet ;) I downloaded the free chart at CrossStitcher website.

Now this project I completed 2 years ago. I haven't framed it yet, but I will... soon... or later... whenever... ;p

This is partially my collections of finished projects, magazines, threads, and other cross stitching tools. The rest are all over the house, I need some time to track them down. I've started this hobby since 2 years ago so that's the reason for the somewhat huge collection ;)


My threads are all from DMC. I keep some of them in a tool box, some in clear folders, and threads for specific projects I keep them in a separate box. Obviously, I haven't decided on the best method to keep my hundreds of threads :)

This is a project that I completed in 2 weeks only! It was meant as a wedding gift for my best friend Jihan's wedding last month. However, the framing took forever so I haven't gotten the chance to present the gift to the blushing bride. I hope she likes it!


This is a close up of the border; I did it in 5 colors, which I think is pretty ;)

Currently, I'm working on a project for a friend of mine. She chose this pattern because she wanted to match the yellow with her living room theme. I'm estimating that I will finish this project before the end of next month ;)

This is my dearest project :) I did it as a gift for myself and for my dear husband...

A: Anyone can do cross stitch! It's very easy to learn. Even kids can do them!
